EPO: Evening Primrose Oil - Or why Jaypo is always right.

Comments

Aww, poor gb, all the sleep you've lost when you could be well on your way to good snoozin'. Why did it upset your stomach? Do you have a sensitive tum? I hope the flax doesn't do that. Oh, and btw, the flax is MUCH cheaper than EPO.

p.s. I've been know to be wrong. ;-)
Sort of sensitive, but not usually. I could eat a tin can and not have it bother me, but somethings ... I've both read and heard that EPO in pill form bothers people, so I must be one of them.

Could be because it was standardized too.

I need a new watch, look - it's 8:10 and I should have left 5 mins ago...
ground flax is fine sprinkled on oatmeal
just a little nutty
Don't know what your ailment is, but maybe a smaller dose? 1000mg seems like a lot. I use EPO for motion sickness with no complaints. Guess it depends on a person's individual chemistry. Flax seed is also great for adding fiber to your oats - in case you're not getting enough sticks and bark in your diet.
At the risk of offering poor Doug too much information aka: TMI... perimenopausal night sweats.

I returned the EPO, and it was a liquid filled pellet so I couldn't have cut them in half. I may eventually look into another form, like a tincture liquid, but am going for the ground flax next.
Same thing around our homestead - unfortunately there isn't much that really helps. We have lots of nights spent here with the windows open and the fan blowing while she searches for relief.
