Yesterday, little miao's tag line read May it rain a thousand cat whiskers? Didn't it? Here are your whiskers, friend.

Yes, these are genuine cat whiskers. I have been collecting them for years. Every time I find a cat's whisker I save it for luck.

Amazingly enough, I collect cat whiskers too! Also for good luck. My collection isn't as impressive as yours - I kept them in different places and I've misplaced some over the years. *sigh* Since I go to school away from home, my father actually collects any he sees for me. Isn't that sweet?

Your post has really brightened my day. :) :) May it rain 1000 cat whiskers of prosperity, and may 1000 cat whiskers bloom! (there's a saying in Chinese "may a 100 flowers bloom and a hundred schools of thought contend" that basically means "let creativity and freedom of expression reign" - that's what loosely inspired the Miao Brothers' Motto).

I am so glad to know there are other cat whisker collectors! I have a glass test tube with a cap that I keep mine in. I meant to take a picture of that too, but I got sidetracked, by the cat. I think I have been collecting them for about 8 years. They are all white, except one. One single, solitary black one from my tan cat, go figure. He gets 2 or 3 black whiskers every once in awhile.

I have a few other sites and such I can't wait to post!

oh and oh my goodness! Thank You! for your most gracious good wishes. I can see you have been paying attention, as I just recently said how art, music, thought, creativity and freedom of self and expression are what drive me! YAY!

a test tube sounds like the perfect place to keep them, and you can see them in there too! i'll have to acquire one for my collection!

The miao bros have quite a few whisker colors - Kemi has the only black ones. some of them are speckled. but most range between tan and white. kitty whiskers are great! and even though I'm not superstitious, I know they bring good luck. :)
