If you read my blog, I must insist you turn your speakers all the way up to 11 and rock one of these in your living room. I don't care who's watching.
I've made lots of wild claims about music before... That Billy
Squier's Don't Say No is the greatest R&R song ever. The only
music I will ever listen to again is from the singing cowboys of the
old west. That Scottish indie pop from the 1980s was the finest music
ever produced. That Pink Floyd is my favorite band. That the Clash is
my favorite band.
But you know what, when all is said and done - Cheap Trick will ALWAYS win out as my favorite band.

Hubby and I saw them play Sergeant Pepper in Las Vegas in February. They sound as good as ever!
I haven't ever seen Pink Floyd although I love them, too !:)
CT really got me up and moving this morning. It's only 930-ish and I've already showered and dressed on my Saturday off!
I remember when I bought Cheap Trick at Budokhan on vinyl like it was yesterday. Jamesway Department Store Stroudsburg, Pa 1978. And my Mom kind of snotty/snooty says to me something like why do you want to buy that, or are you sure you want to buy that - like I didn't know my own musical tastes, I don't care if I was only 10 years old. I was a hip kid and knew CT was the shit.
Need your love is the only song from the original I don't have on file.
