Real, tiny houses

Comments

Those are just the coolest. Where would you put yours?
Awww, it looks so cozy and cute.

Why right next to yours! I thought of the cottages you posted the other day! Seriously though, where? I don't know. I would like to stay in Marin, but I don't think I could afford the land, or the property taxes. I am partial to any coastal region, I really like North Carolina. I just need to live near any large body of water, be it the beach or a nice lake or river side community. I sent off for my transcript last week, so once I know what I need to finish to get my degree, and how many credits I have to actually take at my own university, or what credits will transfer some place else, will determine where I end up. It just has to be a temperate, mari-time climate.

Hi Little Miao!

And once you figure that out, then we can both start planning where to put our little cottages.

That house is so adorable... the black window trim, the blue porch ceiling.

North Carolina is a good place to live :)

There are many more designs there, and more to be put up soon. Full disclosure... I run the site, and developed the idea of the Katrina Cottage with Andrés Duany immediately after Hurricane Katrina.
Oooh, thank you, gb!! Now I'm going to browse and dream some more of my own tiny house! *claps three times*
The Tumbleweed guy lives just north of me. Once in awhile he holds an Open House, if I ever know ahead of time I am going to drive up and see his house.

The Ensti is still my favorite, other than a few Scottish cottages I have seen.... of course.
He has a book too!--I'd love to look at it. The Enesti is very sweet--and it has TWO bedrooms! I'm particularly fond of the The Harbinger. Maybe one day we'll each have our own tiny house! Wouldn't that be great? :-)
