I was just on another blog and the thing on the side that says "Vox recommends:" are all HotGirlsEasy. Really, Vox..that's the best you can recommend..for me to find slutty girls?
Don't like it, don't click it...Yes, I find it tasteless and crude, but it's not interfering with my blog, so why should I spend energy getting worked up over it?
For those who don't see that recently favorited box, I see it on my Voxwatch page.
Fatcat: No energy is required on your part.
I'm not "worked up" as you put it - worked up would be my going to those items and making comments how offensive they are and marking them as such - if that option is even still available. Or trying to email vox again about it, no matter how many error messages I get. I was simply pointing out WTF? is going on with the vox content lately. However, It does interfere with my blog and my enjoyment of it. I don't care what people do on the internet, but I don't want to see their deviant behavior on my blog, and there are children on vox, you only have to be 13 to get on here, IIRC. And some people can play online at work and vox because the content is safe 99.9994% of the time, I don't like loading up and having a coworker walk by and say wtf are you looking at?
ok, maybe there is a cultural difference here, I know most European countries are very forward thinking about sex and nudity, but most parts of the US are still fairly puritanical.
Me, PRUDE EXTRAORDINARE. I think the Amish are wild and crazy....
ick and ick some more. but like Aubrey and Lurker, I don't get that on the page that opens for me. and then I just click to neighborhood. dunno why. but I'm really glad about it now.
Comments
I tried to email a link to vox and got an error message. Doesn't anyone mind the store anymore?
Nasty and embarrassing.
I don't have that column on my Vox home page anymore - I wonder if I eliminated it by editing my account, or something.
