Vox Hunt: Icing on the Cake

For my 6th birthday my Grandmother made an Orange Supreme cake w/Jiffy white icing & mandarin oranges. She also gave me a horrid 4 piece blue polyester suit. My Mom made me wear it to school for Show & Tell. With hot heated tears of anger streaming down my face I hated that thing. I cried for days. I remember that as vividly as the cake. Well, two days- on my birthday when they made me try it on and then when I was made to wear it to school in abject horror.
