Tex Williams, Red Foley, Hank Snow... You get the idea... The Fore-Fathers of Twang.
Do. Not. Like.
It makes my stomach hurt, like rot gut. Even taken with a full meal. Nor do I care for the way it generally makes me feel - Like I had too many cups of coffee and now my stomach hurts. I'd deal with it if it did anything, anything at all to help night sweats, but it doesn't.
I called Nature's Bounty to ask about their return policy. A very nice, friendly and helpful CSR said she'd send me a pre-paid label and I could return the product direct and they'd issue me a refund, but I said I'd see if Walgreen's wouldn't just let me return it at the store, and if not I'd call her back. I may not have liked their EPO pill, but I do like the great customer service from Nature's Bounty.
Why didn't I just listen to Jaypo about the Flax? Well, I'll tell you. Only two people said flax, a dozen said EPO, so I went with the majority rule. Perhaps a tincture and not a pill would work for the EPO, a coworker said she's heard many people say EPO in pill form bothers their stomach. But I'm not trying it. I am just going to get the damn ground flax seeds like Jaypo said to do in the first [expletive beginning with F deleted] place.Roly Poly scrambled eggs for breakfast, has bread and jelly twenty times a day.
Memphis by Ernest Tubb is just about the sweetest love song ever, and with Father's Day looming it's more than appropriate.
Today is Repeat Day, so we want to know: what song do you have currently have on repeat? Bonus points if you share it with us!
I love that old honky tonk cat - Ernest Tubb. I could listen to him cry into his beer all day long.
ESSIE! I love Essie nail polish. It lasts FOREVER. I have a bottle of Essie with a broken brush cap (that I glued back together and is missing a piece) that I've had for at least 4 or 5 YEARS. The color has changed, but it still paints like the first time I opened the bottle, even with a broken cap. That's how stellar a product Essie produces.
I just got a new bottle as a gift yesterday through my job. I took a phone call and ended up chatting with the caller who owns a beauty supply store and she said I was so helpful she wanted to give me a present. How kind and thoughtful of her. Yes, kids, you read that right, I was nice and helpful.... pffft..... but it's just part of my job.
If you are looking for an outstanding nail polish in soft and pretty shades that is well worth the money, Essie is for you.
My favorite shade is VINYL BIKINI, it dries almost clear, yet whitish in tone, almost like dried Elmer's Glue but very sparkly.
If Vinyl Bikini had a theme song, it'd be Apache by the Shadows...
I heard about a Peruvian herb/root called Maca, and wonder if anyone here has ever used it and will tell us about it...
